well, i have a friend and he have a problem.... when he's going to play single player or multiplayer, the game starts but crash at start... he installed the patch and the new update but this does not fix the problem...

which will be the problem?

What is the exact error message you're getting? If it refers to an ERRORLOG.TXT file, post it here.

If the game closes without an error message when it's loading files for the actual game, it can be one of two things:
1) a damaged CD
2) a pirated copy
Thus, check that your CD is in good shape.
