hi, i have a problem connecting into the wormnet...

it's say "Fatal error during gameserver conection"... i read this:

7.0 Wormnet/Network Issues

- 7.1 A fatal error occurs when logging on Wormnet
The most common reason why this happens is because the game requires a valid link to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to perform tasks. The game will not be able to achieve this without a connection, therefore please make sure you have the Internet open as a background task to ensure a viable connection prior to running the game and logging on Wormnet.

If a message is displayed stating 'Fatal error during gameserver conection' when attempting to connect to Wormnet through a proxy server. Test network setttings from within WA and ensure that the proxy is enabled. If not make sure that the checkbox is highlighted above the test network button. If the checkbox is highlighted and the proxy is still listed as disabled then review your proxy port number as this may have been incorrectly entered. If you are still unsure please contact your network administrator to establish if you have web proxy and that it is Harvest Cache compatible.

i have internet, but i don't understand about the proxy, I'm Argentine and I do not understand English at perfection

if someone could help would be very helpful

EDIT:

I used two proxys, one argentinian and one chinese... the argentinian have a port of 4 digits: 8080 and the chinese 5: 16214 when i restart worms the port say: 08080 (automacally complete with 5 digis :S), then use the chinese, but that don't works....

I need to enable some ports in Windows Firewall to connect to wormnet?

this maybe helps:

See if you can connect to the WormNET IRC server. Do the following:
Open a command prompt (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) and type:
telnet wormnet1.team17.com 6667
You should either get a blank screen or error message.
If you get a blank screen, that's not the problem (your IRC port isn't blocked). If you get an error message, then something is blocking it, for example a software firewall or your ISP.

Your IRC connection is fine.

What do you see when you open this link (http://wormnet1.team17.com/)?

Your HTTP connection is also fine.

Please download WireShark (http://www.wireshark.org/) and record a packet log of a connection attempt to WormNET. You can use the filter string "host 195.89.193.89" to filter only WormNET traffic. After you record it, compress and post it here.

Here is where I had to put the filter?

Disable any proxy options you may have set first.

Untick "Capture packets in promiscuous mode"
does not work. And gave privileges to the firewall and also disable it, but still does not work, will still kaspersky to see if that was the problem, but apparently it is not ...
But I can play games by direct ip, then, i don't know what is the problem... :(

Have you selected the correct interface? Does capturing without a filter work?

Chapulin

wothout filter appears so much things/ips...

CyberShadow

You understood that you need to try to connect to WormNET while Wireshark is running for it to record anything with the filter, right?

Chapulin

I used the filter and connect to wormnet = nothing appears
Not use the filter and connect to wormnet = appear many ips, but that ips aren't from wormnet... because with the filter should appeared ips of wormnet.

excuse me my english.

You seem to be doing everything correctly, but I can't think of an explanation of a problem, unless it's a software firewall or weird DNS issue. Do you have any anti-virus or firewall software installed?

Do you have the Kaspersky firewall or Windows Firewall enabled? (some/all kaspersky editions come with a firewall)

i'm going to try disable kaspersky, reboot and try to connect... later comment (edit).
