Yes, I know this isn't Team17 related, but I figured you wonderful people might be interested in this.

Back in November I spent a week writing a Left 4 Dead parody with Michelle Osorio of Kill9 Studios (http://www.kill9studios.com/). They were filmed over the Yule weekend in December, with Michelle directing and a kickass cast, including three of the regular cast from web series ./shutdown and Ben Dunn of GeekScape.

The first part went up shortly after New Year's, but Part Two has gone up now. We intend to write and film more, but for now here they are for you to check out.

If you have the bandwidth I'd recommend choosing the YouTube version instead of Veoh as we've uploaded it to YouTube in 720p high definition. Which is nice.

Second one's definitely better than the first, in about every aspect. Most notably in that it used much more L4D references than the first, and did go for the "instinct zombie trying to live normally" aspect that I said would appeal.

Youtube will scale down the quality of the video for you if you don't have the speed for the original quality so it is the best place to go anyways >.>.

No, I mean we have an actual high-def video up on YouTube, and that's what we've embedded on the Kill9 site. It's the version of the video that will display if you click "Watch in HD" on this video's YouTube page.

Plasma: They were originally going to be one video, but at 11 minutes it was a touch too long so Michelle split them in two. We intend to do at least three more parts. We haven't written them yet but we're brainstorming ideas and we have a pretty good idea of what we want to do with the characters.

As a very very amateur filmmaker, I must say that this is incredibly good! The guy that plays Oscar, is an awesome acting work. So far we couldn't see much acting from the other, but it does looks very good too.
No flaws on camera work too.
It's interesting and criative, I just don't know for how long you can keep the fresh ideas, but I would love to see plenty of more of this

I'm sure I would enjoy more if I knew L4D better, since I never played, and could give sugestions too, but I enjoyed alot even so
And soon I'll try to install L4D and see if it runs here, then I can participate a little more

Everyone involved is a professional in some manner. Michelle is a professional Director. Ben Dunn (Oscar) is a professional actor. I think the only person involved who isn't a professional is me, but that's because I'm a writer. We're not allowed to be professional :)

Thanks for the kind words. We have some ideas of what we want to do with the characters. We reckon we have maybe three more 5- or 6-minute episodes of mileage with this set-up.

That's some pretty nice work there, man. I thought some of the lines could have been better delivered (especially in the first one), either that or I read your work very differently to how I should; it seemed like Mr. Dunn was missing what you were trying to do at times.

It was still worth watching, for sure. I look forward to part 3! :)
