Well, Team17 have missed a deadline to give some info out. Valve missed a deadline like... a hundred times, for the release date of some of the most expected games, by about a YEAR or so off... :p

Yeah I wouldn't put those on the same level of consumer expectation as Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, HL2:Ep2, etc. :P

Team Fortress 2 got delayed 8 years, but it went from "great" with GoldSrc to "super awesome" with Source 2007. So that doesn't really count, unless Team17 releases some day a major patch for Worms Forts that fixes every glitch, gives Worms 4 Mayhem graphics and lots of gameplay improvements.
