I'm hanging out for a Worms 5 for sure!
I think it should go back to the old 2d style of gameplay (Worms World Party was my favorite ... classic hilarious gameplay) but have some more modern exiting graphics.
The new 3d Worms games have been a lot of fun, but haven't had the amazing feel of the 2d gameplay mechanic.
And all Worms games must of course keep the Team Management system - with Team Names, anthem, flag, gravestone etc ... that is one of the thing that makes Worms just awesome.
Also - the water needs to be rising during the game ... this makes for increased tension! :D
The last thing I want to mention is this - the option to go back to the same map for the second round ... third round etc ... And I don't just mean the same map started over again - I want all of the damage, gravestones and broken land that the last round ended with!

What does everyone think?

That is a great idea. I miss this feature from the old old Worms games. Worms:DC was so much fun with this.

I have come to the point, where I absolutley don't care about whether it is a 2D or 3D Worms (or a combination of both). And I know this is dirty Team17 tactics, they already planned it back in 1997 in a dark, little room.

New Worms for PC... please... NOW!

As soon as it's for PC, not rushed, and not entirely dedicated to complete newbies who know absolutely nothing about Worms, it's okay. Though I have a little preference for 3D, it's much funnier for mods. But a 2D Worms with WASO graphics would be still great.

I'm not sure a 2D game with 3D graphics would look good, 2D adds a much more cartoonish feeling to the game, and you can perform many animations you can't do using 3D.
