Which background on the forum do you use? and which is your favorite.

Team17 Fluid for me definitely. I simply cannot understand why people use Retro Purple, it is ugly as sin to me.

Team17 fluid. Retro Purple is liked because it's retro, being an older skin from the Forum. And I don't know why anyone would want to use Fixed.

I like both. I just don't like the fixed one.

Isn't this already done before? Ah well, Retro Purple Fluid, because I like the font on retro purple... (it's smaller) And fluid because I have a 22" wide-screen, don't want to waste all that space.

Retro Purple fixed. As it's even more retro than fluid.
People who think it's ugly ovbiously have no taste. The purpleness of it is awesome.

I don't know why anyone would want to use Fixed.
Because I don't have to move my eyes and head from one edge of the screen to the other.
Especially for clicking the buttons.

How big is your screen? :p

1920 pixels wide in my case, so I understand Bonz.

I quite like Fluid, I've never been a fan of scroll-o-vision.

I use Team17 Fluid atm.
What's the difference between Fluid and Fixed again?

Fixed has a set width, while Fluid takes up all of the screen.

Retro Purple Fluid.

It's easier on the eyes. The bright white of the standard skin is like staring into a lightbulb.

After using it for a day or two, you get used to it.
Or you just need to turn on the lights in the room you are using your computer in.
Or turn down your monitor brightness.

Retro Purple Fluid all the way.

Anything other than Retro Purple Fluid just seems... wrong to me.

Retro purple is easier on the eyes, but I use Team17 fluid because retro purple's colour's look kind of weird. And because it's the default and I didn't bother to change it.

Retro Purple is liked because it's retro, being an older skin from the Forum. I suppose this is worth harping on for the nth time in case anybody missed it. Thanks to the magic of archive.org, we can show you what put the Retro (well, and Purple) into Retro Purple (http://web.archive.org/web/20020802042816/http://forum.team17.co.uk/).

Harkens back to the good old days when I was the idiot instead of you guys, but even if not for that, I'd probably go for this over all that blasted, blinding white.

Oh boy, that was when Open Discussion still existed. Talk about a blast from the past. Shame none of the links work.

Oh wow, there's the original Kilburn and all...

It's like another age... Or a parallel universe... D:

And the days when Nutter and APJ hanged around.

Oh, and the famous Beer Garden (http://web.archive.org/web/20021010004458/www.team17.com/beergarden.html).
