I can't find the post where he said it, but I'm sure CS once said he was going to request an increase in the *.txt attachment limit (so people can upload errorlog.txt without compressing it), and I think also to allow things like schemes and other files used commonly in Worms Games to be attached.

So, my suggestions of file types allowed as attachements:

7z
wsc
fsc
fwp
bit


The file sizes should be adapted appropriately to fit the most common sizes of those files.
7z files should get the same allowed size as zip files.

.txt files are 250Kb while every other format is 100Kb. And 7z files are allowed, according to the attachment list.

One issue is that we do have to be careful with the attachment database, as it does have a nasty habit of getting corrupted on a Friday evening and knocking the whole forum out :p

Still, Cyber was getting annoyed at one point in having to explain to computer noobs how to compress files. It might be a good idea to allow ERRORLOG.TXT files to be bigger but no other *.txt, if possible.

How big are errorlog.txt files, typically?

I've got a 155kb one, so the current limit should cover it.
