Have there been any new developments in creating a Worms game for the PS3?

I own a Mac and am unable to play on my computer. I really hope that Team17 will make a version for either the Mac or PS3.

At the moment there's been no announcement. I don't think it's likely though - not a port of the 360 version.

There is a thread similar to this one here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=31767&highlight=ps3). But the discussion was mainly based on the Playstation Store.

well, that sounds like a good sign.

one thing you could do with a mac is play one of the first generation worms games via emulation. the amiga roms for worms: director's cut are free to download from dream17, and in my opinion, it is the best of the worms games, with wa being a very close second. the emulator for amiga is also free and i'm pretty sure there is a mac port. the only thing that isn't free is the kick rom image which you'll need to run the amiga's operating system. you can get that, legally, with amiga forever package. the download version of it is reasonably priced.
