I really debated about even bothering posting this here... but I'm only doing it because I know not everyone here who might like it, has a DA account.

Superb work. *thumbs up*
I agree with Pyramid, the shading does look like it's on the wrong side. Surely the side with the big glowing sword should be lighter?
Yes, I do know who that is but it's been so long since I've seen him (I don't regulate Fan Art) that I've forgotten what it is called . Can someone elighten me?

Whoa, that is awesome. I agree with the others about the shading though.

The main light source is from the right side. Z-Saber is only a small glow. Not enough to light up the whole body. Besides, there isn't much of a way for direct light from the beam to hit his bottom part of his body. If there was, the head would still be in the way for most part anyway. The reason for stronger reflection of the beam on the helmet is because, well, it reflects light a whole lot better. Besides, this is meant to be 3Dish. Just because something that produces light doesn't mean it makes everything directly next to it, lighter. If you still think there should be at least a little bit of light on his body. Look at the full view, and look right before the edge. It goes from dark to lighter to darker again. The lighter part is slightly tinted green too.

What software you use slick?his dA account mentioned photoshop if I'm not mistaken. this pic was a mix of photoshop and flash. I assume flash was just the base while photoshop did the shading.

Very nice! The angular hand shape is interesting, though it does look a bit like his left one has a chunk missing from it because of it. :p
Anyways, awesome work.
AWESOME! *I REQUE-

Yeah, I was not sure if was wrong or not...
Also, the Z-saber is making light on the two sides and the body looks like is more to the back, where the light of the saber wouldn't reach. That's why I was not sure...
Thanks for explaining :p
Also, the mouth and the eyes looks like a bit of anime style. Nice touch to a character like Zeor :)

Yeah, the shading looks just kinda off, but it's because there's no enviroment. If there was a shaded background, it'd be easier to see.
Anyways, it doesn't stop the picture from being god damned awesome.
Stop moaning about the shading. I wouldn't even have noticed if you lot hadn't pointed it out. Anyway, it's AWWESOMETSSHIIIITTTT :eek::eek:

By full circle I meant the awful.....awful artwork has taken over in lieu of decent stuff. And artists like slick are hesitant to even post good work for fear of tosspots. Like the old times! Anyway bye!

A really nice one!
Although the shading makes me a little uncomfortable... it's too much like skin :P I believe it was called the uncanny valley or something..
But anyways.
Great drawing, I really like the style and vibrance of the colours.
The pixelated-ness of some of the edges almost make it look like video game graphics.
