I've now moved onto worms comics, now.

Here's my first ever computer drawn comic. You may not find it funny, but my friend saw it a while ago and laughed.

So either he's an idiot, or its actually funny.

Might do better worms sprites, but IMO, its not really the art that matters, its the humour, and storyline.

Once i find a suitable sprite for the comic, i'll accept requests. What i'm going to work on tho, for my comics are...

. Better Backgrounds
. Better worm sprites
. Better humour
. Better storylines

This will take a while, but i'm going to try and improve every bit of that.

I know the artwork isn't great, and i was about to use my current style of worms in my art thread. But then i scrapped the idea because it would be better to use sprite type worms.

And the next one might not be epic either, but i am going to try and get a new type of worm for my comics.

That took me about 40 minutes to get done, for my next one i'll spend more time.

My advice for making your own sprite comic, search "Apathy Clan Sprite Kit" in the forums. That'll help you out. :D

Anyway, I'd strongly recommend you try and start using other people's sigworms, it generally makes the comics funnier because people can relate to the characters. But just make sure that the sigworms have the same personality as the Forumer they're based on.

I find it funnier than my other one, and it may still not be hilarious. Tommorow, or something like that, i'm going to get bigger panels for my next comic and the worms will be bigger.

Whats going on: Its Bob's birthday, and the other worm brang along a smurf.

Ehh... look at it like this: Look at what you described the comic should be like; or more precisely, the "brang(brought) along a smurf" part. Notice how your comic didn't really make it look like the smurf was brought along, it just looks like it happened to be there. If you had actually made it look like that, it would've been a bit funny. (oh, and you should've attempted to draw the Smurf as well, instead of using a picture of one. Bonus marks for if you can make a SmurfWorm instead.)
And the last panel made no sense whatsoever, just so you know.

Alternatively, you could've taken advantage of Kelster's blue sigworm, put a smurf hat on her, and give her a tired face to show that she's not enjoying pretending to be a smurf. That would've been a whole lot funnier. ;)

I instinctively wouldn't add eyebrows to the worms that I draw. But I tend to because otherwise people complain about the lack of them :p

Well I'm not sure. I got away with a separate thread for Forum News.

I believe that rule is there so people don't make a new thread for each picture, and that there's leeway for when something special deserves it's own attention.

The question is, are these worth of a separate thread?

Personally? Well, personally, my opinion probably doesn't count considering Shadowmoon is hardly my BFF, but even so I don't think they do merit their own thread.

As for the comics themselves, sorry, but they simply are not funny. I am not sure what to suggest to improve on that facet, except maybe just reading other people's comics and getting a feel for what works and what does not. I am not saying to just copy other people's jokes, but you really need to get a grasp on some common elements of humor.

But, it is important to remember to keep trying. Do not let negative comments (Like my own ;)) get you down. Taking criticism on board is the only way you are going to improve. And if you keep trying, eventually you WILL improve. It may be a slow and painful process, but you will get better, so long as you put the effort in (All this goes for the art too I suppose).

I don't think that whole Forum Comic Fad counted.

I always draw on impulse. I only redraw and improve seldomly, and it's only on digital drawings. When i practice, i take a paper, draw randomly, and if it looks bad i draw.
