I wonder why you joined this forum, Shadowmoon. :) Such a negative attitude is detrimental to the community. :) Don't be such a spoilsport. :)

Nice going, CJH. Keep up the good work. :)

*sighs*

Okay, you made a video. A gameplay video. But there's nothing interesting or special about it at all. I wonder why you posted this.:p

Well, I've been making a few videos for a while using windows movie maker, but I couldn't show them on this website. so I managed to post them on youtube instead.

There is nothing interesting or special because everything special has already been found, And I thought that gameplay would look more fun, and I managed to make it look cool.

I wanted to show it because I was tired of just my own feedback. And while I appreciate yours, I was wishing it was more "you could have done this" or "I would have liked" rather than "BORING!" which is basicly what your saying. At least some people care. thanks worMatty and spz7221!

Nice going, CJH. Keep up the good work.

WorMatty, you really are over-reacting. I only said that it wasn't interesting in a nice way, i didn't say anything bad did i? all i said was that it wasn't amazing. Also, i am not a spoil sport. You are over-reacting quite a lot here. Also, CJH, point out where i said 'BORING', please. You will get criticized here. I have got criticized a lot, BTW. But you really are going over the top here. I mean, come on, at least i didn't say THAT VIDEO SUCKS! or THAT VIDEO IS TERRIBLE! i would never say that, i know it hurts feelings.

I'm not overreacting, mate, just telling it how it is. If you look at what you put, you might see that it doesn't sound nice. What you said sounded like you thought CJH shouldn't have bothered doing anything because it was pointless. :)

A better, more positive approach would have been to compliment him on the time and effort he has taken to capture, select and arrange those video clips and put them to music, then suggest how he might want to improve things. Afterall, people need encouragement to get better. This is why the worming community has a lot of history. :)

It's very easy to fall in to a sort of rut when it comes to dealing with other people in forums and chat rooms. You have to be careful that your exposure to things repeatedly doesn't make you blunt to other people. You might have seen many fantastic pieces of work that far outstrip CJH's but you have to remember that something so small can mean a lot to its author. :)

Do you see what I mean? :)

You are. Can't i share my opinion on these forums?:-/ Okay. I couldn't make anything like that. I would most likely suck at video creating. All i said, that it wasn't that good, in a nice way. CJH, didn't really seem to take much notice at all! he just took it like a mature person! whereas you, really did over-react. I didn't say anything really nasty did i? think of it that way?:p Anyway CJH, i apologise. I never knew it would hurt you so badly.

I'm not overreacting at all. Maybe it's because I'm 24 and talk all posh like and you're only 13 or something and think people are being mean if they don't include lots of smileys in their posts. So for your benefit let me make things clear for you. I'll also edit my original posts to make those clearer as well.

You said: "I just don't understand why the heck you posted it here. its not interesting, or anything."
"*sighs*
"Okay, you made a video. A gameplay video. But there's nothing interesting or special about it at all. I wonder why you posted this."

Sounds nasty, yes? Does not sound nice at all. Here is an example of sounding nice :) :

"That's great, dude, but next time you might want to make a video of something out of the ordinary. Nice effort." :)

Do you see the difference? Do you understand what I am saying now? You may be coming across to people worse than you realise. :)

You may post your opinions on this forum but no-one wants to hear other people saying "Your work is pointless. NEXT!" :)

Before you click Reply to defend yourself and your rights and opinions again, have a sleep and read this whole thread again. I guarantee you will approach the issue with renewed mental clarity :)

Anyway CJH, i apologise. I never knew it would hurt you so badly.

It didn't.:-/ What made any of you think that?

Anyway, Can anyone tell me what was good about it? Im sorry it was so short, but I didn't want to take up too much of your time. I may post another.
[But of Worms4]

Thanks, you guys are realy nice and easily used to do my bidding...I mean helpful.:)

What was good about it was that it showed gameplay. What was bad about it was, it could have some laughs in it. You know, funny stuff happening. Entertainment makes a great video.

Good point, Shadowmoon. I'd like to see a video of mistakes in Worms 3D/4.

CJH
