What you forgot is that midnight is designated as 12:00AM, not 12:00PM (which is noon).

It's still not new year's here in California, either. I still have to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Child? i will be a teenager in april. I never knew that people had different times, but i knew that people in different countrys have different seasons. I really should close this thread, but I'm hoping Paul will stop by and correct any irregularities about the Welsh education system.

As for being taught times in year 9 - I think I was taught that in about year 1, and geography in year 7 reinforced the timezone stuff. Although that was back in the days when Wales was part of the United Kingdom and had the same National Curriculum (bar a couple of minor differences) as the rest of the country.

Oh god not another one. JP1 was good, JP2 was not as good, JP3 was dire - spot a pattern? And based on the current trend of "sequels to sequels" (with the exception of Bourne 3) are usually pretty awful and nowhere near as good as the first one.

I doubt I'll be watching JP4 - I'll stick to the classic original.

If you want to be a mathematician, then maths will be important. If you want to be an author, English will be important. Secondly, what you learn isn't just in school, it's outside of school too. I think I learned about time zones in primary school, not sure if it was in school or not, but I remember it was about the invention of a clock to enable people on ships to know where they were on the Earth longitudinally.

A child is anyone under the age of 18, which is law and undeniable.

They exist, they're built, and they work. They don't look like regular cars, though. They have helicopter blades and stuff, I think.
If people wanted to, flying cars could be on the market tomorrow.

...that'll never happen though. It'll be till 2020 or so until they've gone through the immense amount of testing required for it to happen, and even THEN it'll be given to cops and hospitals first.

But after all of that, you'd better believe you'll be able to buy a flying Audi. :cool:

Do you just not read books or something? You can learn about things before you're taught them in school, y'know.
