Hi im currently trying to get a trymedia version of WA to run on vista. When i attempt to open the program, a grey screen appears and says "an unknown error has occurred" and it gives me the option to click a button which says "finish" on it. When i press the button nothing happens, and when i attemp to close the window the screen goes completely white and i can no longer access my desktop. I believe the screen that im having difficulties with the the "try demo" or "buy now" screen from the trymedia software. Im aware of the issues regarding WA and vista but i dont believe i have even gotten to the point where the game actaully begins. If anyone could help me out id appreciate it. thank you.

Not that this will definitely solve your problem, but it's an option you should consider anyway. If nothing else, at least you won't be making rip-off artists richer.
