Hi all!

Just got Stunt GP, and when I try to run it, I get an error in the StuntGP_D3D.exe and it crashes to desktop... Could this be down to my graphics drivers? I don't have this problem with any of my other games, currently, though I have known it in the past.

Cheers for any help,
Joonz :)

Can you quote the error message, if there is any?

Like "error destruct_line(02) superswift.dll". That is just an example of an error message.

If there is no error message, use CAMSTUDIO to record the screen, start the game, let it crash, and then stop recording and post the video here.

Videos say a million words.

Videos say a million words.I don't really see how that could help.

Joonyer, what operating system are you using?

maybe we can spot anything, see the error messages and understand better.

that is next to msn's Remote Assistance.

Its a mighty old game. Chances are it just won't work under Mr.Joonyer's new vista computer. I'm assuming alot there.

Joonyer, what path did you install the game in exactly?

You must not use any spaces, e.g. use the default "StuntGP" instead of manually adding a space ("Stunt GP").
Somehow the installer seems to ignore those and still use the default in the registry.
AFAIR, the game will crash then.

IIRC, another T17 game from around that time had the same "space in the installation path" problem. Was it Worms Blast?

Try installing it into a path with no spaces, for example instead of "C:\Program Files\SGP" as you said, try "C:\SGP" or "C:\Games\SGP"
