By the way, if your character dies it's not because I hate you... it's because I want to keep the cast to a minimum. It's pointless having a cast of 1,000,000 when most of them just turn up in the background. Also, i'm not taking ANY requests whatsoever. If I think of a way to include someone's sigworm, i'll include it. It's much easier for me that way, and i'm more likely to carry on the comic.

Anyway, it's been 2 years... so I might be a bit rusty, so try to enjoy! :p

I'll try to keep the comic going, so hopefully you won't have to wait 2 years for the next part. Not sure whether to carry on with the "epic" A3 parts or go back to the standard A4 ones. Obviously, A4 takes less time but they're more cramped and less sexy. This A3 one took ages, but it has more space and looks like the sex. More space = More creases and hairs on Slick's face. :cool:

HK, looking all SHADOWY. I made a mistake when I was colouring it in, so i had to try and save it somehow... by adding loads of BLACK! I quite like the way it turned out though... different and... satisfying. ;)

It's COPIC, Melon. Do you not know of Copic?
Splapp and Kirb use them.
I'm guessing the scribbles around HK are shading tests?

Not so much shading tests... more getting the black off the nib of the marker. :p

And yeah, they're Copic markers. They're rather lovely.

Ah, can't say I've ever heard of them. Seems to be a US and ASIA only thing, looking at the site.

I thought it might be marker pens due to the scribbles next to HK, but I thought it couldn't be because it didn't look like the sort of effect you get from normal marker pens.

Mmm... bit of both. They blend together really well so you sometimes have to be careful that colours don't bleed into each other, but apart from that you just use them like felt-tips. The good thing is that you can go over colours again to darken them (great for shading) and the fact that they don't leave streaks. :)
