The previous longswordia wasnt really.. well, organised or so.

Thus, i decided to revive that nostalgia of excitement.. with this new version of Battle For Longswordia!

All new version 1.2 -cracked- is tons more easy to play, as the longswordian map is longer (vertically), thus eliminating the need to scroll left and right.

I will do all the updating, and I will also log every action.

Turns in this version is more simple and fast-paced. Unlike the previous turns where you can only make one turn within every update, one turn is.. well, one turn!

so, if you make a move that cost 1 turn, your next turn comes once another person make their turn.

The rules are pretty much the same as the previous BFL.

1. You start off with basic technology: Soldiers, normal rifles and jeeps. You have to research more advanced technologies. You have TV and phone technologies to keep your people at home calm.
2. Most territories have natives. They can be agressive or passive.
3. You can only start on territories 1 to 20 until further notice is given. The black territories, I1, I2, I3, I4 and I5 are already populated by natives that have government. They have some technologies and resources that you don't. You can trade with them or destroy them and take the spoils.
4. Superweapons are allowed, but using them is frowned upon. They take a good long while to research and can only be used once (Missiles) or can be used once every few turns but take massive amouts of energy to power. They can only take down 1 territory.
5. No "OMGWTFBBQ UBER TR00PERS!!!!11!!!!!". Basically, everything has a weakness.
6. Stealth is allowed. PM me with your choice of stealth manouver.
7. All actions are to be logged and take the following number of turns (you can do sumthin else meanwhile):

Direct orders to citizens (slavery, etc) = 1 turn
Direct orders to citizens involving hard work to accomplish (farming, etc) = 2 turns
Research of basic tech (boating, etc) = 2 turns
Research of medium tech (aviation, submarines, defensive units, etc) = 3 turns
Research of advanced tech (rockets, radars, advanced warfare units, etc) = 4 turns
Research of scientific hi tech (nuclear, atoms, etc) = 6 turns
Application of tech (prototypes, not for mass usage) = 1 turn
Application of basic tech (construction of boats, etc) = 2 turns
Application of med tech (constr. of aviations, etc) = 3 turns
Application of advanced tech (constr. of rockets, etc) = 4 turns
Application of scientific hi tech (construction of nuclear/atom bombs, etc) = 6 turns

8. Research and upgrade will cost you money. These are the prices (subject to change, based on current Longswordian market prices):

Research of medium tech (aviation, submarines, defensive units, etc) = L$300
Research of advanced tech (rockets, radars, advanced warfare units, etc) = L$400
Research of scientific hi tech (nuclear, atoms, etc) = L$600
Application of tech per object(prototypes, not for mass usage) = L$50
Application of basic tech per object (construction of boats, etc) = L$100
Application of med tech per object (constr. of aviations, etc) = L$200
Application of advanced tech per object (constr. of rockets, etc) = L$400
Application of scientific hi tech (construction of nuclear/atom bombs, etc) = L$600

9. You are not allowed to queue turns. If you do, only the first action in your post will be logged and performed. The rest will be ignored.

If you break these rules, your turn will be forfeit.

The Battle For Longswordia Headquarters are constantly upgrading their base, so any attempts to invade the BFL HQ will fail miserably.

If you want to invade another territory, you have two methods:

-Publicly warn their territory by posting here
or
-Secretly ambush their territory by sending me a PM.

Battle for Longswordia v1.2 -cracked- uses its own currency, that is Long$wordia Dollar (L$).

You can create your own territorial currency, by posting here and I'll determine the exchange rate of your currency which may rise or fall like unit trust prices.

You start with L$500 and every territory has one gold mine which is capable of producing 5 tons of gold every month. Each ton of gold can be traded with the BFL HQ for L$100. The BFL HQ will use the gold to trade with other continents for upgrading purposes.

After some time, the BFL HQ will find a new territory by its own satellite and software, Goggle Earth. Then, it will update the map.

You can buy Goggle Earth from BFL HQ for L$100, but the software version sold is downgraded by a whole lot, so all you can do is just monitor your own territory and is practically useless and a waste of wealth.

In the map, dark blue sections represent the deep sea and the light blue sections represent the shores and places where it is safe for your citizens to go fishing.

EDIT: Advice: try enlarging the map so there is more room to add details. The one we have at the moment doesn't quite fill the screen.
Just a thought.

I'd reccomend dividing up the sea into sections (without numbers) as well, for boat speeds/distances and war boats.
Also, how do we earn money and how fast?
Also again, try and make it so that you can have multiple levels of research. For example, researching 'boating' twice will allow you to make faster, stronger boats.
Also again again, don't forget about natural disasters, including weaker boats being liable to storms when out at sea.

The 360 still is unable to heat the air to a temperature high enough to allow the hot-air balloon to fly very high. The hot-air balloon is only able to rise 3 metres from the ground.

and you can trade whatever your country have with other countries. lets say you have been researching on crystals, and another country needs crystals for, say, a radar, and they dont have any.. so they will have to BUY from another country. my main objective is to establish trade within countries. :)

Well, yes there is an alternative method: trading. You can send an invitation to another country (must be connected in the same island, unless you have researched and built boats or aviations or other transport methods) to start trade.

Also, build a plane.

Prototype or comercial-use plane? if you dont build a prototype first, your planes will be unstable and unreliable. and they frequently break down. :(

LATEST OUTBREAK!

A deadly virus is fast spreading, and the virus seems to live comfortably on dirty clothes, primarily unwashed clothes of soldiers. Several people in the BFL HQ has died and the sea waves, coming from the northwest direction, are drifting some dirty clothes, suspected to be infected with the virus, of which some BFL HQ staff has thrown into the sea, and they are heading towards the main island. Based on computerized simulations, the infected clothes will reach Dragon Land and probably Evil Country. However, the sea tides are unpredictable and results may differ from the predictions.

and i found a new way to improve earning money but i will need someone else's help :( That is to trade gold with the BFL HQ every fortnight. so that means you gain L$500 every two weeks (twice a month). but i just cant keep up all the work alone... Thus this system isnt yet implemented :p

Otherwise it's much too expensive.
