A gentleman with a huge point to make.

What you suggest I do about it. And what do you mean by 'Harshly-colored' anyway?

What you suggest I do about it.
My suggestion, and note this is just a suggestion based on personal preference, would be to change it something less likely to make my eyes fall out, and then delete the original file and, if applicable, whatever original image it was cropped from.

And what do you mean by 'Harshly-colored' anyway?

I would think that's fairly self-explanatory, but to clarify: the colours are far too vivid. You appear to have no concept of subtlety.

You don't think that sharp blue, sharp red, and sharp orange, all together, is harshly-coloured?

Indeed. The whole thing seems to clash with itself - the blue horns are especially vile.

My advice: work on the inks yourself, and get someone else to do the colouring. Ideally, someone who's using something a little more advanced than an Acorn Archimedes 16-colour monitor.

Hahaha! :D

Although, perhaps Kelster's uniquely colored artworks could be used instead of Ishihara color test (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishihara_color_test) pictures.
If someone says "Oh, what a nice picture", it could be a strong sign of color deficiency for an ophthalmologist.

Having said that I need to ask you Kelster, do you suffer from a form of color deficiency?

Oh, it's not THAT bad.

Especially compared to people like this (http://sapphydracases.deviantart.com/). :p

...ANYWAY, I guess you could experiment with lighter colors that wouldn't clash so much.
Colored pencils are a fair bit better than markers in that regard (assuming you used markers or something like that).

Not until you at least learn how to animate!
The least you could do is make the horns grey or black! I mean, it's a friggin' orange demon; why did you even consider putting blue horns on it?

...ANYWAY, I guess you could experiment with lighter colors that wouldn't clash so much.

Or darker colours, especially considering that demons aren't supposed to be bright and striking!

But I like his blue horns... they go with his wings.
And was the other one a lot worse because it had to do with Green Day.
:( I like them...
Yes my color vision is perfectly fine.
No I do not have a color disorder.
I thought it would be fun to go with complementary colors. And I guess there's some anilegous colors on there too.

Blue and black are complimentary colours. Blue, red and orange are not!

It should be pointed out, this wasn't a thread in the beggining... this was inside some other thread and apparently was split from there and made into it's own thread, for glod knows what reason...
Anway, yeah using solid, saturate colors is usually a bad idea. Try using lighter colors and stuff?
Also, some texturing helps, and shading.
See any difference?

And even if they were, what possesed you to set the dark colour to pitch black? Shadows aren't Pitch black.
