people really need to understand that if one person does something, it doesn't mean everyone will do it instantly.

they say that kids will probably commit suicide if they can't play games for a while. well that's the stupidest thing I've heard all day! 85% kids know that video games don't controll their life. soon their going to ban video games from all of us because of some of the stupidest reasons!

There also doesn't appear to be any actual link to videogames at all. It effectively boils down to "Kid is grounded, decides to end life." That the grounding includes a ban on videogames is inconsequential. In fact it boils down to "Kid falls out of window after being grounded" - I've yet to see anything concrete that says he took his own life, or that he intended to take his own life.

Much like the "kid killed by Gameboy" story, this seems to be based on circumstantial information.

People/Kids should first think before acting. I knew the difference between gaming and life, and i been gaming since i was 4. You never saw me trying to perform open heart surgery, after playing "Theme Hospital" Neither have i hijacked a car because i played "GTA" Nor have i ever even tried to strap little mini bazookas to my earth worms in their earthworm farm box. (Doesn't work by the way) my point is STOP BLAMING GAMING FOR STUPIDITY...

I was told about a year and a half ago by my optician that because my eyes have apparently been misassembled (PM me for gory details!) I can't go bungee jumping. Not ever. Now, if I had stepped out into the road and been hit by a car after that appointment, would they assume I had commited suicide because I couldn't partake of that particular thrill?

Ah this kid would've suffer if the power went out. That happened to me once. Power stayed off for 24+hours once. Blame the snow. (Snowing in March. :mad:)
