Unless you're running linux, you can't.

No way there has to be a way to do it, its a windows app like everything else >< ive tried loads of things code-related and even tried 3DAnalyse and i wondered if anyone else knew a way.

Nope, currently there isn't a way to do it, and even if you forced it too somehow the colour palette would be screwed and the game practically unplayable.

About the only way to do it is to run a windows emulator in a window, and run worms on that - as long as you dont mind playing at 1fps.

V4.0 will run in windowed mode, the current version will not.

Nope, it doesn't exist yet.
Many moons could pass until it does, so don't hold your breath.

W:A uses a palleted display, taking up all available colour space - which makes it impossible to run it in a window. If you have a powerful CPU, you can try a virtualization solution, such as Microsoft Virtual PC or VMware.

wel there has to be SOME way since plutonic seems sure at version 4 itll be possible... abd yes my CPu is powerful so thanks for the idea lol

At version 4.0 WA will not be palletted, so unless you feel like recoding WA (a task which Deadcode and CyberShadow are doing), no, not really.

A game that was released in 1999 and based on an engine from 1997, where computers were everthing else than powerful.
WA's minimum requirements are a 100MHz CPU, 32MB RAM and a 2MB graphics card.
W2 needs a 75MHz CPU, 16MB RAM and a 1MB graphics card.
Now go figure!
