I can't figure this out, as soon as the new patch came out I installed it and went online to play.

The first game I played worked like a charm I played a match and all was well. But then when I joined another game it locked up before the load animation started and said something about an error "Read errorlog.txt for details" or something.

Now I can't play WA at all, as soon as I try to start any match either offline or online it will freeze and I have to use the 3-finger salute to get out of it. I don't get it, the game ran perfectly fine and now its just gay. I've attached my errorlog.txt file in case anyone wants to have a look.

Which version of Windows do you have?

Oh that's right I spose that might help, I'm a dummy. XP Home SP1. I would have SP2 but no matter how many times I try to install SP2 it will never boot into windows, I have to uninstall SP2 to even get my PC to work again.

Hmm Squirrel, that seems pretty retarded. Have you tried the good ol' fasioned reinstall? Back up your User folder before you do this. Oh and when you patch it just use the latest one, there's no need to use any others.

Yep, I've tried that aabout 5 times, AND REINSTALLED WINDOWS!! I don't have the slightest so to why it does this, it worked perfectly fine for years until the new patch, so sad right now... :(

Whoa reinstall windows? That's pretty far to go just for worms. Ehh I dunno what you could do.

Well it wasn't just for Worms, as soon as the patch came out and it quit working, I just let it be for a few months cause I was busy with work any way, but recently I just couldn't take windows acting really screwy so I re-installed. And what do you mean by 'Just for Worms' ;)

OK, this may sound like a noob question, but where is "#worms"? I haven't heard of that before. If you mean a lobby in worms I can't find it, is it the room before you go to #AG or something? I swear I'm not a noob, I just haven't played in a few months so I may have missed something. :o

Err... I may have a soultion. Have you tried downloading the Update AFTER you've downloaded the Patch? works for me.

You do not need to download anything before installing the latest Beta update. If you have an Internet connection, the 3.6.28.0 will install all prerequisites automatically.

Also, the problem has been fixed.
