I just got WA from a friend, and I am having a bit of trouble getting it to install on my computer (I'm running XP). When I put in the disc and double click on the icon, I see the "Preparing to Install" screen with the big mushroom cloud, and after a little bit the screen disappears and nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to fix this?

I tried that installer, but I got the following error message:
C:\Program Files\WA_update-3.6.28.0_beta_Installer.exe /S /D=C:\Program Files'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file.
Press Enter to exit.

And disabling Direct memory access didn't help at all.

Try putting the path in quotes.

Installing to "Program files" is a bad idea - it doesn't create a subfolder, but installs directly to where you specify. Try installing to C:\Games\WA instead.

Or "C:\Program Files\Worms Armageddon", if you insist on installing to PF and the quotes thing works
