Bah I installed in into the slot but when i boot, it boots as if the firewire card is my new video card so i can't use the screen. How can I make it so it doesn't do that?

unplug both cards and plug them back in

i of course tried that....tried switching slots...and everything else I could think of and now I'm sure that it's broken.

xp, i've tried it on another computer too, earlier today. same thing.

Windows XP Proffessional SP2 has a nasty problem with it's registry. I still can't use my SD card reader. Sorry, bud, can't help you there. But I'm almost 60% sure it's the registry.

HAH! i use XP Home Sp2 and it doesnt have a problem at all! (or maybe a little here and there)
