Alright so i'm trying to play Worms Armageddon on my laptop, in all it's widescreen glory thanks to the beta patches.

Only problem is my right arrow key is broken. Usually this doesn't bother me too much, since i use WASD for pretty much every game there is, and being crammed into the bottom right of the keyboard would make them a nightmare to use anyhow.

ANYWAYS, i've been looking all over for some sort of keyboard editor, to no avail. There's an app on the "Blame the Pixel" website, but it is for hard remaps of keyboard keys, and i really don't which to have to need a reboot + ruin the ability to type with my keyboard every time i want to play a single game, then reboot afterwards to gain it back.

So i guess i'm asking if there's any known applications i couldn't find, or any kind of known registry tweak / HEX edit / non-obvious config file that someone could help me with

Google for IntesKeychange or download it from blamethepixel, it's simple to use and you can disable/enable it in real time.

Thanks, i'll check it out.

I was more of looking into a native way of doing it tho, so if anyone reads this and knows of one, no matter how complicated, please share.

One could make the argument, as insane as it may sound, that when your keybaord is broken you should replace the keyboard. As opposed to, say, asking the developers of your favourtie games to release a patch that lets you use different keys.

Is that just me? Maybe that's just me.

The argument hardly matters as the goal would be a great addition regardless if your keyboard is broken or not.

Why post when you add absolutely nothing but your pointless opinion.

And where do you see me asking for a patch of any kind? Even if i was it's just not something i could expect to receive in a timely manner. If you'd read my post instead of just the topic you'd have seen i'm simply asking if there's any known ways of doing this (maybe if you HEX the game .exe and look somewhere specific you can find the key maps easily editable. Or maybe there's setting burried in the registry.) Point is how the **** will i be able to find out if i don't ask? Google found me nothing, so this post is the next logical step.

My apologies - a large number of posts concerning WA are asking for features to be added (instead of existing bugs and glitches to be fixed, for example) and as I didn't read your posts in full, I wrongly assumed you were doing much the same. That's my fault, and I'm sorry.

For what it's worth, I do think a WSAD option wouldn't go amiss in the game. That said, I'm used to using the direction keys.

Wouldn't it be more awkward trying to use WASD and the spacebar? I know it wouldn't be awkward per sé but more awkward? I think so...

Meh, I don't think so. Works fine for Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem. Remap space as jump, use LMB for fire, nigun problema.

A WASD set-up would be a fairly good addition to the game.
