I run Worms Armageddon 3 from Windows '95 on Virtual PC 3, which is runing on my iMac.

Once I am playing a game or mission in worms, using my Apple Optical Pro Mouse, whenever I scroll around the screen or try to select a weapon in the weapon panel, the pointer moves around randomly all over the place, not where I want it to go.

What is causing this, and how can I stop it?

I have the same problem, but I found out that if you click lhe UK1 link once and then press ESC, you should come up with a window about connecting. (My one didn't fully load so I dont know everything it says.)

In 20th April 2007, just 5 days after I joined.

In start 15th April 2007 I didn't know even the forum!

I just wanted this day to search in Internet for "Worms 5", because I had Worms 4 : Mayhem, and I wondered if Worms 5 was out.

First result, a post from a link with title "Are they making Worms 5?". Then I went to this link and I've found the forum.

Then I joined and I finally saw this thread, and then I made a list of what I want Worms 5 to have, and 5 days after my join, I posted this post, which is my first, and then I explored the whole forum and now I'm writing this post.

Hi, somebody who knows how to complete the computer-mission where you have to put landmines behind the computer to activate it? It never works with me. Everytime the mines blew up in my face or they won't sit right. Got any tips?

Ghost;428972']i brought out my cds again to install, since worms 4 isn't gonna be out in canada yet and i play classic but want to get used to 3d. anyway when i start the setup, everything goes fine, then when it says to enter disc 2 it's ok, but when i have to enter disc 1 again, it always freezes? (says not responding and never does work, i left it on for 30 minutes). what should i do?

Back then they were unveiling the first W3D screenshot, by showing a small part of it every day, so everyone was speculating as to what the contents of the pic were. :p
I recall I joined this forum because I heard some rumour of a 3d worms game and I was like NO WAI! So I googled for it, and got to this forum. Also because of the christmas competitions.

I'm actually not sure if that's my first post, it may have been on the Christmas compo forum that got deleted.

Used to be a giant rant about the split in the community of that time. The whole CL2K vs. T17F debacle that's been dragging on for quite some time already then.

I would probably have started posting here earlier than 2003 if it wasn't for the fact I was part of the CL2K camp. Never really crossed the line that got some of those awesome people banned because I didn't mind reading the T17 forums. Just didn't like the thought of getting involved in things and the CL2K forums took care of that anyway.

Sense my computer is slow, it will probebly not run on it. Therefor I am getting the GC version. Now, how much level edeting will I be able to do on it? Save up to what, 3, 5 maps? :confused:

About Worms 3D. lol, I wanted to get the GC version.

Here are some tips you may or may not know...

1:When using the homing cluster bomb, place it on the targeted enemies head. Then when it explodes the little clusters will be able to get to the target really quickly!

2: Type in as a team name: TEAM17MicroProse (with the capitals included) to get all the weapons!

Try DirectX or you could try getting a 64MB vidio card, ro getting the latest drivers for it buy going to the website. Go to nvidia.com to get them.

Lol the thread probably came about because after seeing one of my posts and looked at the sig section but not paying attention. Your sub-conscious read it and you thought the idea was yours. I can assume that is the only explanation.

I have had a problem about victory locations. I have found that sometimes in multiplayer, the computer can build certain buildings without the nessecary victory lcations. This is expecially annoying when they build a wonder really early on and i can't destroy it because I can only buid keeps. Will the patch fix this?

(It may be that it's just my game because i had the "great statesman" speechbank before i even unlocked it and instead, I wasn't able to use the "american news reader" speechbank.)

The demo is a bit choppy on my PC as well at 800x600+. There's nothing wrong with the graphics and it's playable , but i thought it would run smoother than this. Here's me specs:

I agree with Plasma. The number of weapons is not inherit to the 2D style of games, those games just happen to have more of them. Same with the missions, and the worms...

So Shockdude is really saying which game he prefers, not which style of playing. The two are very different. And the style is the topic of this thread. Amen.

Thanks For the guide although I cant do what you did with the bazooka it freezes the game instead my bazooka shoots out a radio and I set it for higher land damadge and it does 55 worm damadge. I've also tweaked stuff like the baseball bat to a surrender flag and the supersheep into a UFO that leaves A crater the Size of a... well lets just say it's BIG! and cool:cool:
also little tweaks like the gas canister blowing up on impact and causing low worm damadge. but I have a few questions how do you get a gun to shoot a hat or crate and how do you get a team weapon to preduce Ghosts skulls and fire? I'm a little confused here:confused:

The reason why I joined was so that I could finally find out how to tweak W4, but then I saw some other threads that looked really cool and decided to stay, and here I am now. :D

I agree, I haven't acually found many bugs with the latest patch. However I would only buy a sequle if it was a large improvement from W3D and I would quite like it to contain the classic worms music (like from the origonal worms :) ) in the menus.

I think my first post got deleted at some point or something, as I remember it being a post to suggest a tactic for the AI to use, but this is the earliest I can find, and I can't find all my posts in the search. too many results.

and why not!? if they mimic us, then our strategies will have to change until we find a way to beat them with the strategies they're using, that way, in order to beat a simple computer we'd have to become master players, that way online becomes much more interesting cause everyone will be making more advanced moves, and more interesting displays of skill. making the computers copy us will inevitably make us much better players!

Ok, yeah I need help. When I go to two player mode or even on Worm Net in the window that says "Terrain" theres nothing. Nada. Ziltch. However if I right click and go to the terrain editor, I can see stuff fine, but no matter what I modify or even change the terrain entirly, nothing gets changed in the later game.
How can I fix this?

Hi, I'm a member of a programming team, and we would like to make a Worms game in C++ on a calculator. The problem is we don't know which algorithm is used to generate landscapes. Do someone know?

i recently installed Worms 2, but when there is a menu, like the one in Single-Player where you make your own team, when i click on it, nothing happens. And if i click and hold it and move around the screen, it just drags the window.And another problem is that I try to download the patch but i cant and the server always seems to be busy.

You need to find someone with a Windows XP and get the Autoexec.nt file, if they have the file, using a floppy. Then, take that file and put it in your computer.

This file is found in C:\Windows\System32, or in C:\WinNT\System32.
