I mainly made this video to show people why WA is better then WWP (Because of all updates).

Man, now if you were to combine W:A's huge map size with WWP's mission editor.....
Let's just say that it's gonna be able to make one hell of a Rube Goldenberg rollercoaster!

That looks fun!

Now I hope it will be included in the W:A/WWP mega version.

Hahaha, the music was most brilliant, the choice couldn't have been better.

the camera work could have been done better by leaving the mouse alone :P aside from that, good job./

If you hadn't noticed franpa, the worm started to go so fast the camera was being left behind.

so you move faster if you jump off of ground rather then teleporting mid air? i tried teleporting really high up and found the camera to never get left behind... maybe he used /batty or something that freaks the camera out?

I agree with franpa on this one - if you don't touch the mouse the camera would have followed the worm automatically. The movie's cute, though :)

Also, holding down the home key should work.

The music reminds me of Alfred Chicken. :)

Nice little video. I was surprised to see the worm bounce the 2nd time.

It was falling faster than the camera :P
Anyway, thanks for watching everyone :)

as noted, the camera does NOT get left behind... but if you used /TS then it may have been due to double rope speed or what ever...

edit: /TS does indeed make the camera get lft behind.

The band is called "Slagsmålsklubben".
The song is from their latest CD, "Boss for leader"
Youtube them and you'll find more songs :)

I think you had FD off.

Nah, I think there's a cap for falling damage

franpa

67 to be precise.

CyberShadow

The cap is due to the limit on objects' velocities.

Hurry and de-cap that limit then!

Acegikmo

Isn't the velocity cap moved twice as high in teststuff ?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before - there are several documentation issues in the 3.6.28.0 ReadMe. One of them is the TestStuff description. Here's what should have been there:

TestStuff5: Toggled by entering "/ts" or "/test" in the chat. Enables BattyRope, Rope Knocking, use of weapons during a rope roll, the Indian Rope Trick, worm selection without ending hot seat time, and skipwalking facilitation (up/down/middle arrow keys act like right-clicking while walking); disables loss of control while roping; doubles the maximum speed for roping and jetpacking, and abolishes the speed limit for projectile motion. Also enables Circular Aiming and Anti-lock Power. [TestStuff was supposed to include Girder Radius Assist as well, but this feature was accidentally disabled.]

So, projectile speed limit (which also applies to non-roping worms) is removed in TS5 and also TS3. TS4, which is actually the version described in the ReadMe, isn't enableable unless you use a hacked/custom client.

enableable
Very nice!

Ok, i've tried holding the home button.
It still can't keep up with the speed while falling with /test :)

disabling test would make a better video, because then you would fall at the same speed as what you do in WWP, which i thought this video was aimed at... with /test on, it makes the fall seem rather small and short.

It was disabled :)

I have to admit that since I downloaded this update, I have only played 1 game on a large map, infact I've only played 1 game in total since the update.

And to think that I was going mad waiting for this patch.
