you should get a refund and buy a CD ROM version of the game then apply the latest BETA patch... this is the main way to ensure maximum compatability with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and newer operating systems.

Trymedia has online play disabled. Get a refund and buy the CD version, theres a whole bunch of awesome updates for it, with loads of features and awesomeness. ANd online play.

...trymedia does seem to be pointless if you intended on playing the game online.
are there other options?
I don't think I'm going to purchase the CD-ROM. if the game cannot played online with the Trymedia version, then I will just get a refund and scrap the whole thing.

If you're willing to pay for Trymedia, why aren't you willing to pay for the CD?

And the Trymedia version is more expensive one. The plot thickens.

Okay, guys, I was able to get in at some point in time.

So trymedia isn't disabled.

And I would be notified that trymedia was disabled for online, instaid of it crashing.

So please, stop mocking me for getting trymedia and help me.

Yeah but you won't be able to play any games with anyone else, so it wouldn't really matter if you did manage to log in

That is, you won't be able to play most popular schemes. A person using an older version joining a game forces emulation, which means you'll be forcing all other players in the same room to not have access to the latest features. Be prepared for getting kicked on sight as soon as you join most games.
