Uhm,what Tal05 tries to say is: That he likes it very much.
It looks pretty good, but it can be even better.
Though,it's better than what I have seen lately.
Well, it's a good start.
1: When a worm has his mouth open, don't forget to draw the other side of the mouth too. (preferably in dark red or black)
2: Try making the tail bigger and fatter. It looks pretty small there.
3: In the last panel, WHY IN THE HELL DOES THE WORM HAVE TWO TAILS?!
4: Also, get Worms4: Mayhem. It's much better than Worms3D.
Why did he grow a second tail in that last panel?
The expression on the first panel is priceless. I also don't know the deal with telling people how to size their tails, Plasma, surely no one told Akira Toriyama to make the eyes smaller, eh?
I suggest that you take a look at others Worm-art before posting your own.

You'd love these comics?
After that, I am not impressed by much.

surely no one told Akira Toriyama to make the eyes smaller, eh?Oh, they probably did. He just didn't listen to them.
That's how it works. People looking at a drawing are free to criticise it and suggest improvements. The person who did the drawing is then free to either take the advice, because they reckon it'll improve their work, or ignore it, because they reckon they have a style going. Any other way of going about it is ridiculous.
Now, I wouldn't call myself able to criticise the drawing itself. From a comic-writing point of view, I'd say the comic needs a witty caption at the end to provide some kind of punchline. Something like "Body piercing the hard way" or "We're not quite sure where he keeps his brain".

As said by Plasma and Iguana, the worm in the last panel has two tails.

come on CHRIS you can do better than this
Large eyes are part of Akira Toriyama's style; it's just the way he draws everything, and it WORKS. The two-tailed worm in that last panel wasn't a stylistic choice, but an obvious mistake on Toughworm's part.
Edit: nice sig/avatar futureworm.

what the hell do these awful comics have to do with akira this is an important question
what the hell do these awful comics have to do with akira this is an important question
Yakuza was comparing the worm having a small tail to Akira's big-eyes style.
But, of course, one style looks good, and the other doesn't.

I really doubt it was a stylistic choice rather than a "Wait, how do I draw a worm's tail from the front view?" choice.

Erm, isn't the reason he has two tails in the last panel because a branch made a hole in it and it split into two?

His shape changed so much that it's hard to say.

i couldn't be arsed to quote Yakuza's post:
surely no one told Akira Toriyama to make the eyes smaller, eh?
i think it's because it flattened across the floor so its actually 1 tail

I was just complaining that his choice of metaphor was as ridiculous as Sony's PSP square button / architect's gate one.

The worm doesnt have 2 tails. you are seeing the worm from the front not the side so the worm,s tail is seen as 2
t will cut the 2nd tail if it seems like there are 2 tails see if this one is better

That's actually quite good. Much better than my first attempts...what embarrassing DAUBS those were.
So, keep practising, and you could draw really good comics. I suggest that you start practising to draw them on the computer, though. Once you get used to the mouse (or if you buy a graphics tablet) you can produce much more amazing stuff. Good Luck!
Also, nice signature there. That's really cool.

i edited some with computer but the importance in this one is the storu
a worm is trying to commit suiside
anotherone pushes him and after the first one dies the bomb explodes
BOUBLE 3 says YES I AM DYING AT LAST,
the worm is depressed thats why he wants to die.

in the 3rd bubble does he say "yes i am dying at last" ??
and i dunno what it says in the last bubble
Your art is getting better.
But here's a tip on drawing guns: (see picture)
The thing i'm pointing out is not the shape of your guns but where on the handle the worm holds. The top of the worm's hand should be touching the bottom of the main part of the gun.

Hm, you have some potential but, try to WORK on these more. For example, the colo(u)ring is like that of a 5 y.o. and use ONE worm shape instead of 100!

thanks for the comments
I will do them more carefully tomorro
do you still like my comics?

its always different. THAT' S HUMAN ERROR I THINKYou can reduce the error by having a lightly-drawn sketch composed of simple geometric shapes, and then do your proper drawing on top using the sketch as a framework.

Thanks i havent tought about it
Well, my work here is done! *dusts off hands*
What I meant was stated in 3 or 4 above posts.
Also, last pic shows improvment again!
i dont really get whats wrong with the first worms eyes :-/
Nobody said anything about eyes???
What are you on? (DON'T ANSWER THAT!)

I don't believe I have ever seen a scope that is made for BOTH eyes before.
The bumpy tails you give worms in some of your pictures look weird. The smoother tails look a lot better.
Toughworm
8 Aug 2007, 16:54
The bumpy tails were when I started the comics last year.
I improved their tails a long time ago.
I showed you these ones because they are the funniest i have.
The last picture is signitured 2006 others are 2007 or '07
yesterday I drew some worms.
they are the best I have
You should post the newest ones, even if they aren't the best, so that we can show you how to improve.

Ok when i get the time to scan them
I will because mine is broken and i need to borrow my sisters,
nice art, toughworm. but try not to double/triple/quadruple post, like what i did when i was new. whenever you need to update your thread, and your post is the last post, click on the edit button and just add whatever you need to add.
And try using www.imageshack.us or PhotoBucket, or create a new account on DeviantART, instead of attaching the file. By attaching, the forum automatically resizes the file and makes it smaller. On an image uploading site, you get to choose whether you want to resize it or retain the original size.

he's trying his best, anyways.Possibly, but if that was my best I wouldn't call my thread "You'd love these comics".
(After all, the MAPP revival thread was called "Oh dear" :p)

Well if the had some kind of storyline I WOULD love them I guess...
