Ok, so i dug out the my worms disk from a long while back, and i decided to install it...

The autorun screen came out and said preparing installation. After about 20 seconds it closed. Then i went to explore the disk, and i tried the setup. didnt work. i also tried the WA.exe inside the installation and it didnt work, so i figured i probably need the updates to make it work. So I downloaded the 3.6.28.0 beta, and installed it, then i got the latest one that came out and installed that one. After installing, i tried the WA inside the update folder. The screen turned black, then it closed and it said that "Worms armageddon has encountered an error.". So then i tried to go back to the cd and try to install it. This time, nothing came out at all and now i am writing this thread.

The Beta update is supposed to be installed only on an existing installation - and it warns you if you try to do something without much sense. Are you using a 64-bit operating system? Anyway, try this automatic installer (http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/installguide-autoinstaller.php) if you can't get the one on your CD working.
