Ok, I have an English PC, with the following specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Hard Drive: 32 GB (+ nearly 100GB on D drive)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6200SE TurboCache(TM)

Now, I ordered Worms 4 Mayhem from a third party Amazon seller, but it turned out to be an American copy. Would it work on my English PC with those specs? The seller told me it should, but when I install the game, and run it, it just won't run. It comes up with the begining thing (asking for the monitor size specs, 'no movies' etc) but after that, nothing. I need help guys!

Your GPU is unsupported, and you have only 1GB of memory, so you have only 768MB memory, because Turbocache gets memory for the GPU, and Turbocache isn't good for games. Buy another GPU.

I really didn't get any of that. Are you somehow suggesting that my PC isn't powerful enough? It certainly is. And the memory thing? I have about 100GB. Or have I missed something?

I mean the RAM memory. Turbocache makes your graphics card to get memory of the RAM, because it doesn't have its own, and you have only 768MB RAM, because the video card needs 256MB.

And your card isn't really made to handle this game, supported cards from the GeForce 6 Series is only the nVidia GeForce 6800GT, better buy this, good and cheap card. Your processor is OK.

Damn, I've never ever had a problem with this graphics card before (I mean, it can run graphcially better games than this), and I have no clue about how to install a better card...

Just remove this card from your motherboard, and add another!!!

Not quite sure how this happened, but doubting my graphics card gave it the determination to pull through. The game is working now. :P

The game is working now.

I would like to draw attention to the above statement made by Luigi128. This statement means that the thread can now be left to die. Any posts made now should only be about possible causes of the problem. None of the posts after this statement have been helpful.

In short, leave the thread alone.

My PC has only 512MB RAM but it can run W4M perfectly. So there.
