When I start W:A on Windows 2003 R2 I get the following error:
"Worms Armageddon has encountered an error. Detailed information about the error can be found in the ERRORLOG.TXT file."
Compatibility mode doesn't help. It neither works if I run it as Adminstrator nor as standard user.

Is it possible it doesn't work because I simply copied the W:A folder from another PC instead of reinstalling and applying the patches?

OS: Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition (without new service pack)
CPU: Intel Celeron 2.53 GHz
GFX: S3 Virge DX (2 MB) (Maybe this one is too old for W:A? However it says on the W:A box that it should work with a 2 MB card)
Sound card: None (Maybe this is a problem?)
DirectX: 9.0c

If you need more info, please tell me.
Any idea how to get W:A working?

the video card most likely lacks support for the needed level of direct x support.

Hm. I started dxdiag and ran the DirectDraw test and I got an error at the 3rd test (full screen test). This probably explains why W:A doesn't start. Thanks for the hint.

Grml, I need a different GFX card. Does someone know a cheap PCI or PCI-Express graphics card which has a low power consumption (more important than good graphics performance)?

ASUS 7200GS 128MB PCI-E VIDEO CARD
55$ direct from a distributor.

ASUS EAX550HM512-TD-128 128MB (512MB) PCI-E VIDEO
49.50$ direct from a distributor.

all prices are AUD.

I'm going to buy Radeon 9250SE PCI. I read this one has also a very low power consumption. It has its own memory which is nice. It has a lower frequency and thus probably a lower power consumption than those you suggested.

Thanks, nevertheless.
