Hey all ...

Lets Share Ideas About A New Update

One of mine was to be able to kick and have other powers while being in game...

the 2nd was to be able to make a dedicated server where you can make other people adminastive powers

Any Good?

You can kick players ingame using a 3rd application
CurrPorts (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html) or X-NetStat (http://www.freshsoftware.com/xns/pro/) can do it.

Dedicated server won't be a good idea though :)
This is not FPS :P

What would be the point in a dedicated server?

Everyone could host, even those that can't currently.

no. if you have trouble with your router/firewall they will be the same even if you run a server in your machine. and more, when you host you disconnect from the server. and actually you can run your own server (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/mywormnet/)

Extra Feature Auto-Download Self Made Fanfares and Soundbanks + support of mp3 and ogg (I know it will never happen ;) )

Well, that's not exactly true pisto. Your "no" is true if the server is a replica of the current WormNet1 server. It is false if the server is made in a way that it can act as the host for all the games. This would be similar to the idea behind HostingBuddy. The server could have a built in system to host games for the players that cannot.

A customized server has the potential to do a lot of neat things.

A new weapon  with a real nuclear blast with a mushroom cloud. it's strenght should be like a MB Bomb with double damage. That would be WAY too cool.

support for OGG files can be added, but not MP3.

OGG support cannot be added by introducing a different server. And why did you quote something you made no reference to?

Id say to be able to activate a program thingy like "/test" etc which allows everyone to play roper races at the exact same time, instead of waiting for each others turn.

For example: Theres a counter that goes 3...2...1...GO!!! lol and then everyone starts roping at the same time. But all the worms are in like ghost form so u cant hit each other. Dont say its not possible, because it is. Its the exact same way they make those online racing car games and ****.

real time worms has been discussed for ages, and it wont never be a option of worms armageddon. imho, it wouldnt be a good gameplay

Just search the forum for "real time worms" and you'll find out - this topic comes up every couple of months.

Well, I can see it good only for rope races, boom races or others that don't let worms interact with each other... The problem is: that the data transfered is not a whole turn while the other moves, making almost no lag: it's harder to handle it online, and would require a new code, if I'm not wrong...

So, yes, a good idea for rope races, and boom races (invincible terrain and not able to hit other worms)... but because of its complexity, not worth it.

One thing I'd like to see is the ability to view folders in the scheme drop down menu. We can do it for savedlevels but not for schemes. Would be easier to have them in folders instead of a huge list.

especially if the default ones are listed in a folder :) because then it would be much easier to ignore them.

i have an idea.
why WWP user-made mission files can't be converted so they can be played in WA too? I'm getting a little bored of multiplayer, and playing own missions is a very big fun IMO. I'd be the happiest if the next patch should include a "User Missions" section in the Missions menu. If they did it in WWP why can't they do it in WA?

forgive my bad english please.
