Hello. After installing the latest beta I've been often experiencing network drops (and i know they're on my side after playing with different people when i hosted and when they hosted).
This had never happened on previous betas... not that i remember.

Here are some replays where it happens.
- 2007-07-08 22.48.18 [Online] `cC`cArLOmBo, sL`solo, @AutoFord, six`Mil2: at minute 12, and i wasn't hosting
- 2007-07-08 22.08.05 [Online] sL`solo, @AutoFord.WAgame : reaching minute 6, i was hosting

Here's another one (color map). There were two other players but they dropped in different moments. First one at near minute 12, second one over minute 14.
(I couldn't attach it because it's too heavy for these forums):

I hope you can do something about it, if there is anything to do :)

It`s happening to me also. Day ago I played with a guy that have cable 6MBit/s and I have cable 512KBit/s and I was hosting. In about 8th minute of a game my game said that he had network drop, and his game said to him that I had network drop (we talked about it later, because of that I know).
He`s very often online and he told me that that network drops sometimes happen randomly without any reason.

There is always a reason why something happens.

If you cannot see any reason then we'll just say that perhaps Team17 have added in a random number generator for online games and after every minute it generates a number between 1 and 50, if it chooses the number "1" then the game is made to drop. :)

Indeed - I don't think there can be any correlation of network drops and the latest update, unless an incompatibility issue has arisen with your software firewall.

What would you suggest to discard/confirm that?

Play on and off with the previous Beta, and make sure there is a correlance between your network drops and the used version.
Disabling any software firewalls might help.
