Could somone please help me get the game working on vista! I downloaded the demo version to see if it would work and it doesn't. what happens is that after I get the main menu then i go in the single player thing then after i choose a team and click begin the watever my screen turns black and nothing comes up!

the second thing is that when I minimise the game while it is on the main menu and then I come back to the game the colors are all screwed up!

I don't know what to do!

You probably need to buy the game in order to get a version that can make use of the latest patch, that has the highest chance of solving your problems.

The WA demo wasn't designed to work on Windows XP, much less on Vista. The latest versions of the game include near-perfect XP support and a lot of people have been able to get the game running in Vista as well by using specific versions of graphics card drivers and turning all background programs off while they play.

Sadly the beta updates don't work with the demo version of WA. If you do decide to try your luck with the full version, though, make sure you get the CD version of it. Preferably from the T17 online store. Here's a link to the W2/WA bundle:

I mean this in the nicest way possible. BUT DO NOT GET THE DOWNLOAD VERSION!!! Trymedia's version is equally unable to be patched. You'll need a CD version.

Illegal downloads also don't work.

but i can't get the cd version I live in Canada and they don't sell it anymore but one of the videogame stores called EBgames sell's it on their site but download version only...what do I do? Do you know of a place where I could get it?

Ebay would probably be your best bet if you wanted it cheap. Team17 might ship it to Canada, they provide links to the exchance rate so I don't see why they wouldn't, timewise it will probably tell you at the checkout, but I'd say 28 days maximum at a guess.

yes, the trymedia version is not supported by the current developers of Worms Armageddon, thus the last update to that version of the game was years ago, the current update that is for MOST CD versions, was released merely a few days ago.
