Yep dude , i've just brought an computer who's gad vista o/s, does w:a work on vista ?

Try it and see. There are so many variables with Vista, for some people it does work for others it doesn't.

If you have a problem with it, come back here and search for a thread, chances are it's been looked at (and possibly solved) before.

ok thanks , i'll try , but in fact , i'm on dual boot , i've both xp and vista , but if i can play on vista i'll be fine ^^ because vista is so good ^^

I recently got vista aswell and im experiencing some heavy screenlag all the time..( it went better after i used the Slowfrontend workaround tweak mode) but still not the uber gamin experience i gotta have :(
Kinda strange aswell is that it varies per map..not every map lags the same (LoL) and sometimes vista likes to fook up the colors aswell, and it takes me 5 times minimalizing to get it right if not crashed trying to do so :/ ( worms armageddon Error encountered, bla bla )

so i got some questions :p :

*Are there more people havin problems with this?if yes, is there already a solution? (couldnt find one in this forum)

*i heard about this vista patch coming out maybe , is this true?

*do you wanna give bill gates a headshot as much as i do? xDD

plz come up with some good info, cuz damn this is makin me dizzy playin like this xD

For the color problems you should use latest graphic drivers (nor from MS, but from nvidia or ati).
I never had any problems in Vista after I installed latest nvidia graphic drivers.

Assuming you're on nvidia cause I've only seen people on nvidia having the problem. Fixed it for me.

I think the drivers fixed the colour issue as well. Not sure. If it doesn't then just try starting the game with explorer open. For some reason that stops it.

ps: xDmxUnit : Vista is good but only for the viewing performance, that's quite like XP , and for recent games , that's betterd to play with , and I can assure you , Aero vista 3D seems very good with Nvidia 8800 GTX !

he does not mean using the command prompt, he just abbreviated the word command because he's a lazy ******* :P
