well my WA doesnt work on vista, i got the patch but i need to find the ERRORLOG.TXT file, but i dont know how to, then i have to compress it or something, i dont know how to do that either....can someone help me please?

ah, are you familiar with windows explorer? or DOS? if not then um i dont think i can easily explain it to you.

edit: right click the games shortcut and click "properties", "find target" and there you should find the file in question.

include both errorlog.log and crash.dmp and use a compression tool such as winrar or similar to compress it.

Or right click, send to, compressed (zipped) folder

thanks you two, i compressed the two files but it still doesnt work! it comes up with the same message! what shall i do?

You need to upload those files to the forum so they can be looked at by the developers in order to identify what the problem is.

Also, when does the error message come up? When you load the game?

yes the files in question are debugging files that get made when the game gracefully crashes, you compress them and post them on the forums for the developers to have a look at and they can hopefully find a reason for why it does not work, or they can implement a workaround in the next version for you.

If you want to play W:A on Vista and if Intel won't release an updated driver version, possibly so.

Maybe it's just that model. You're using Vista too, right? Because this is only regarding Intel's Vista drivers and W:A.

Yesterday I found that the new patch 3.6.28.0_Beta was released and tried it on my laptop (Vista business) with intel GMA950 (with the latest drivers by intel) with no success....
Today I've installed it on my desktop with Radeon 9600XT and the latest catalyst 7.6 drivers and after aplying patch everything goes great...no colour problems...run at 1280*1024...so the problem is really only in intel...and I'm afraid that intel will never solve it :( WA is not the only game with problems by running on GMA950 under vista on my laptop...although on my desktop I have no problems with any game under vista...
However I can't take my desktop along by travelling to school, holiday etc....grrrrrr:)
