In my opinion WA is much better than WWP.
First of all, its because WA is suported by ppl who making updates (CS n DC). So we able to play on color, BIG maps, etcetc

Well, i canot tell you something about the community in wwp. coz im not in it.
But i think after the latest update there will be more ppl playing WA.

wwp for a more refined expereince, or W:A for a more fdivers experience, your choice.

While the previous features (color maps, replays, direct IP/TCP games, minimization,...) already gave WA a good advance over WWP, the new features of the 3.6.28.0 update (more worms, huge maps, many mines,...) simply blast WWP away.

yes and has made the W:A community a fair bit less stable in the process... wwp has and most likely always will be the same, thus everything is a lot more refined and less noob friendly.
