Hi. I haven't owned a console since one of the ones with 10 built in ping pong games in ROM that went bleep bleep boooorp.
I am a not a hardcore gamer, and I really don't care that a game doesn't use the latest polygons and 3d tricks etc.
I just want to play games that are easy to pick up, are fun, and where I do not get stuck on level 1 forever because my reactions are useless, and I cannot coordinate pressing two fire buttons with microsecond accuracy whilst simultaneously using two thumb joysticks and a tilt controller....
It is the interaction and the real-live multiplayer online modes that have attracted me back to buying a console.
Multi-player Worms online with headset chat and real users instead of AI's would seem like a winning formula to me.
I mean we used to hang around in arcades, and half the fun was taking the mick out of the guy who had just blown up.
"BOOM! waaaaaaoh Geordie. Thu bastids sneeked up on ya reet gud there like!"
Now that we have grown up, we should be able to do that at home with a beer and some mates.
regards,
