I have got the game on CD had it for ages and it got alot of marks and stuff on the CD so it wont work and i tried to patch it but it didn't work. i have got the 3.6.26.5 update, i keep getting the same thing: Please Insert W:A CD-Rom Into Drive.

But it's got alot of marks on it...Is there any other way i can remove that sign message thing. BTW i have DL the patch

You probably tried to patch WA when it did not need patching. Uninstall the game and follow the installation tutorial more carefully.

Reinstall the game, and use this patch/update installer (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/files/WA_update-3.6.26.5_Beta_Installer.exe) instead.

Probably.
You could try creating a CD image. Preferably use a RW drive, as those normally have better error correction.

There are also CD reparation kits, that basically fill up all the scratches with some polycarbonate-based glue.
I've seen a video on youtube where someone did that with ordinary white toothpaste. :/

If you cannot repair your CD, then yes, you will need to buy a new copy. It's fairly cheap though.
