I buy a lot of games on my cell phone now that cellular gaming has become so advanced. I only buy 3D games, and a lot of them are far, far more complicated than a basic Worms game.

I would so love to play Worms on my phone. ;-;

I have it on my cell phone. It has like 5 weapons and the controls suck (cause hell its a cell phone) I was greatly disapointed but what can you say, consoles are where its at.

Why not create a new Worms for the neXt Gen mobile phones of Nokia? I mean, they have a great CPU (400 MHZ), a lot of RAM (64 MB - 128 MB) and 3D Hardware Accelerator, so it could be possible to create something like "Worms Open Warfare 2" for the mobile phone!

Well, even the "mobile phone" NGage was able to run WWP (and this game had a big landscape + other things). So this wouldn't be the problem today.

Nah, Worms 2007 isn't that bad.

Worms 2007 just had some 3D backgrounds and 2 or 3 new weapon, thats it. It still has no background music, no worms sound, no special weapon sound, nothing. Argh, we need a comeback of WWP!!!!

Cellphones can only do so much. If you want a good handheld game I suggest you pick up WOW2. The Ngage was designed to be a games console... most cell phones aren't.

Well, the new mobile phones of Nokia (N81-N95) are the new NGage, but still no sign of a new Worms (and no, I won't spend a lot of money for only just one game [PSP, DS]). Just look at this video:

The N93 and N95 are able to run some high quality games, so its highly possible to create something like a new and GOOD Worms.

Well, the NGage was specialized in running, e.g. the special WWP, so why not make a new "Worms" only for the neXt Gen mobile phones of Nokia (and I never mentioned that the Worms on the mobile phone has to be like the original PC Worms)? Because the old one won't run on my N95.

No, wait. You're missing the point. The Ngage was designed to be a phone and a games consoles. Most modern phones are not. A mobile phone Worms game on the same level as WWP Ngage is simply not going to happen.

Not good at all. It may have some 3D maps + new weapons, but there is no sound at all (except bazooka, grenade sound and music) and thats the f***** problem.
