That will do no good. Since you live in the USA, you probably have the Majesco version which comes prepatched and doesn't use starforce.

load worms 3D when finished loading right click worms 3D icon
left click properties
left click compatibility tab
click the box"run this program in compatibility mode for"
and select windows XP(servicepack2)
then go down to the priviledge level and tick that box
then click apply and then ok
then restart your computer
Note that this may or may not work with your system it did for mine and i run windows vista home premium good luck

dude.. I had the exact same problem that you currently have. Only think is, it DOES start but it crashes right before it loads the menu. Already did v8lion's suggestions before and I had no luck. I eventually ended up going back to XP and I'm loving it once again! I have Vista's CD right here beside my PC still thinking if I should go back to Vista.

P.S. I was running Ultimate 32-bit Ed.

I have Mobile Intel (R) 945 Express Chipset Family card...will that work for WWP on Vista on a Toshiba laptop? I hope so!!

Please, someone let me know. If it will work, what other changes do I need to make to make WWP run? I'm going through WORMS WITHDRAWAL!! LOL

It might work, Intel has been known to not provide Directdraw support through there drivers for Vista/7 though.
