So, I actually took the time to shake off the dust and create a webpage for an utility I've made long ago and me and my friends have been using daily: http://uniupload.thecybershadow.net/
It's basically a two-click uploader. Most of the current users have their own webspace, for which I've added support of a custom upload script.
But what about free file hosters? Of those, UniUpload currently only supports ImageShack for images, as it seems to be the common preference for its type. There seem to be an uncountable number of free file hosters, and frankly I don't know which is better. I'd preferably pick to add one of good overall quality, and at the same time not too obscure as to disappear/drastically degrade in quality all of a sudden.
So, what free file sharing services do you use?
I use File Front (http://www.filefront.com/) for games related stuff, but you need an account there to be able to upload via a web page.

www.senduit.com is great for most everything. Failing that, I use Kotuha.

http://www.mediafire.com/
This seems quite good.
MegaUpload (http://megaupload.com/) is good when it's working and it's been around a while. It detects the mass web proxy that my ISP gives me and lets me choose a different port to download from. Files Upload (http://files-upload.com) seems good too, though I only discovered it a week ago.

Also, www.speedyshare.com and www.sendspace.com.

Well, that's what I was afraid of - everyone coming up with his own file hoster. I can't possibly implement all of them, so I was hoping we could find one or two file hosters that should be added to UniUpload. I guess it's my fault - the question I should have asked is "What's the free file hosting service best suited for quickly uploading a file and giving the link to a friend?"
The main idea in UniUpload is to quickly get a file or screenshot online, and instantly get a link you can give to someone. As you can see from the changelog, it used to support uploading to rapidshare.de - I've thought of just adding rapidshare.com and forgetting it, but thought I'd ask if someone knew something better.
Providers requiring registrations are out of the question, as the hassle of configuring the application probably isn't worth it. Some hosters have forced expiry conditions (file's gone after 5 downloads oslt) but are better in other areas (larger file limit, etc.) - so maybe UniUpload could have one hoster to just send a file to a friend or two, and one to massively distribute (many downloads over long periods of time).
P.S. This isn't just a selfish request, you know - if you convince me to add your favourite file hoster you'll be able to upload files to it in two clicks ;)

All right. Kotuha is great because of its speed. Files aren't deleted (so far as I know), and there are no forced limits on how many files you can download or anything like that. However, its filesize limit is 64MB. I would say that it is the best in terms of getting a file to a lot of people.
Senduit is incredibly efficient and accepts files up to 100MB, but you can only host files for up to a week. It's good for quickly transferring files, but that time limit can really screw things up sometimes. Also, there are delays if you choose to share the file with a lot of people. So, probably not so great with an app like this.
SpeedyShare is one of the best overall. It's quick, slick, and doesn't have a bunch of ads. There are limits on how many people can download a file within the given hour, but they are relatively open. I'd recommend this as the best solution for an app such as this.

NEW: All files will be available on our servers for 90 days after the last download."
