Yes, I prefer too when the body is larger. But here, it emphasizes the surprise of worm, no ?

I do both with Photoshop. Qwik'n'Easy. :-/

Actually, the first drawing have been made completely with Photoshop, but the lines are smoother with a vectorial painter. (err... is it English what I said ?)

This is quite good.

The lines are sort-of wiggly, but that makes it nice looking.

_Kilburn and me come from another Worms forum, named Worms School. It's a nice website which the forum has a smaller community than here (1,200 members) but sympathetic too. So, we have both showed our drawing, and I have learned some tricks to draw Worms and how do it.

If I am on this forum, it's also because of _Kilburn, who spoke sometimes about it. But we don't know each other over our nicknames.

The photos with the worms in them are ok. My only advice towards doing something like that is to keep in mind that different lightings should give off different tints of colors on the worms themselves. So, for example, if you would make the worm on the TV receiver a touch more darker, as well as tweaking with the colors tint, it will give it more depth and will look more realistic.

Yes, you're right, the lightnings are not very realistic. Actually, the worm on his baobab have been done to show at a friend how we can insert an image in another one quickly. He was a beginner and I didn't be careful at this details...

Yaughui, it's computer-made. All my drawings are computer-made with Inkscape and Photoshop.
The worm of the left is also on the sheep, but I didn't draw its head because it turn it and it's more simple. I would have to do more lines and it would be not very clean I think... But it's a little strange, yes. ^^

The pictures have transparency and lighting effects. Of course it was made on the computer!

To some extent, that post may be not so silly...

-Tablet could be considered as hand drawn.
-Scanned and draw with a mouse over the lines... just to give the effect (complex pictures: not worth it, but simple ones like this: could be)
-In the first pic, that transperancy could be done using watered paint (is that the word? D:)... though it doesn't look like made without a computer.

Computer drawn, though, and the lines seems like done in flash.

*curious data: Splapp usually draws with the cursor... wich I find impressive... or my mouse too rubbish.

There wouldn't be transparency if it was scanned. Then there would be jaggies everywhere.

Well, I draw also with a pencil, but all of what I showed did done with Inkscape (a Flash-like more simple) then did coloured with Photoshop (colours, complex effects, transparency...).

Yes, with a bishop. If you don't know how it is, go to Worms 4 : Mayhem, click Costumize and then Create Team. Then go to the hats list and select bishop. Then you'll see a worm with a bishop. My sigworm is this.

Yes, I think you're right, the bishop is difficult, especially when you make the shape of the gold stripes, the dots and the shading.

Regarding MacGuyworm's new picture, it's not a bad effort, but it's generally a better idea to draw your own stuff than it is to edit other people's pictures. Besides, you have reasonable art already, so it's not like you need to edit official art.

It's not a good idea to edit offical art. It's better to draw your own art. Besides, you're good enough that you shouldn't need to.

Yes I know, I am very late but I haven't time any more to go on all forum where I am registered...

So, I wouldn't be able to draw avatars for you (I am very sorry, but I prefer do my homeworks :p). Therefore, you can see some drawings on the website http://artworms.free.fr/index.php where my nickname is UltraWorm. Sometimes I add a new drawing. :)

Maybe I will be back here sometimes, but I am longer to write in English than in French, so I prefer go on the Worms School forum. But I am very pleased to come here too. :D
