I have no scanner, I have no camera (other than a mobile phone one). How can I post my hand-drawn art?!?! I am desperate to post it but am broke. Any ideas? I'll kill this thread if/when a solution is found.

Check your local library. They might have a scanner. You may need to pay 5p or something, but it's worth it.

I'm pretty sure a scanner is your only option.

Mash your hideous scriblings into your computer screen untill they break through the glass and into the computer proper.

Buy a scanner, or find a scanner that you can use.

It's not like theres another option.

Build your own scanner using a toaster oven and a spatula (Seriously, it works.)

Make your arts on a Palm. :p Yeah, the stylus is not like our "friend" the mouse, right? Is "kind of" a pencil that only draws on your "also friend" the Palm. ;)

EDIT:

1)Get a painting program for Palm like this. (http://www.freewarepalm.com/graphics/handpainter.shtml)
2)Draw.
3)Export (or save, depends of the program).
4)HotSync to PC ...or MAC.
5)POST!
6)Wait until everyone says "You're the MSPaint master!" and you then post "Really i used a Palm" XD

It has been said already, but the only good way to do this is to buy a scanner.

They really aren't that expensive, if you know where to look.

Ok, hold the paper against a wall. Ok? Then, smash your head against it, as hard as you can, repeatedly, until you pass out.
Then, if you survive, get a scanner/camera.

Seriously, what other ideas were you expecting to get? There is no other way. You have to get a scanner/camera/whatever-electronic-device-that-lets-you-translate-a-hand-made-drawing-to-a-computer-either-by-creating-an-electronic-image-of-it-or-by-allowing-you-to-draw-directly-into-the-cg-image-via-some-sort-of-stylus-type-device. There is NO OTHER WAY.

I got a scanner for £40 a while back. Get one that's a printer as well and the ink companies will subsidise it so it'll be dirt cheap. They're cheaper than scanners without printers in these days.

Digital cameras are great for this, actually, particularly if you have access to a proper vertical stand for them (which I presume you don't) and you know roughly what you're doing. Phone cameras not so much.

Edit: If you draw on fine graph paper you can manually transfer the image to a computer, one pixel at a time.

These days (for non-Worms stuff, at least) I tend to use a digital camera, then use layers to ink and colour it to counter the fact that it began life as a digicam'd sketch.

Hmm, great help =P nah just kidding, anyone else got any ideas?

What was wrong with the "local library" one?

You mean, no toaster?

You know what they say: "All toasters toast toast".

Use the scanner.
