hey there:

I found this site really interesting, it is about knowing how many people use the internet. So I decided to post it here in online orgy, because I think its really fun.

This is my profile, check out the video explaining how this works.

The internet: destroying "private" one byte at a time.

I really have no interest in finding out exactly how many people use the internet.

Goodness gracious no, I mean everyone on the internet knowing my exact location, real name and e-mail address, what are the odds?

lol, what have you done to be afraid of it? Its not that hard to find who you are anyways :p

Also, if everyone puts who they are, what is the probability that someone cares about your name and stuff?

What? Privacy?
If you want to find me, here (http://hitta.se/ViewDetailsPink.aspx?Vkiid=y2mUq9fPpiW699c8HTW%2fq A%3d%3d&Vkid=11352789&SearchType=4&wflWhite=1a1b&wflPink=4a&vad=Spellerberg&var=) I am.

It's just that I doubt this project will succeed so I don't want to bother with it :p

No, making a prompt pop up when you want to leave the page will kill it. And also damage things for people who use Javascript properly

That site needs to crash, burn & die for three and a half reasons:

1. It has an irritating java popup when you close/navigate away (as MrBunsy mentioned)
2. It doesn't recognise "Loughborough, uk", "Loughborough, england" or even "Loughborough"
2.5 It doesn't even recognise London, uk (although it does recognise "London, england")
3. If you type in England, UK or anything else to that effect it doesn't even recognise it!

Stupid site.

Edit:

Hmm, just tried again and it now recognises "<town/city>, England".

Still:

*Burns site*
