I am (obviously) trying to transfer my game to a new computer. Have tried moving the savegame.xom file to the data folder on the new computer, to no avail, snd then tried copying the entire worms folder over. Again, the game runs, but no saves. no team, no trophies, NOTHING! Ahhhh! Please tell me I dont have to start over!

You have to move the Savegame.xom file to "Codemasters\Worms 4 Mayhem", not "Codemasters\Worms 4 Mayhem\data".

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure about this. Turns out I made a copy of the savegame in one of these folders...

You need to go to your worms4 folder.
D:\WormWorking\data Example of the folder that I have  . NOTE: The "D:\WormWorking\data" is not the current folder it's depends what you named the folder and where you install it. and it's not "Codemasters\Worms 4 Mayhem folder" and second copy the "Savegame.xom" if you want to transfer it you should have an e-mail and attach it or if you have USB or diskette you could copy it and save it. Hope this helps :)

Yeah, it's still not working. I have copied the savegame.xom file to the C:\Program Files\Team 17 Software Ltd\Worms 4 Mayhem folder with no effect. onthe other computer, the one where it works, the savegame.xom file is in C:\Program Files\Team 17 Software Ltd\Worms 4 Mayhem\data folder. It works fine. I have even tried copying the ENTIRE Team 17 Software Ltd folder to the new computer, and my teams, trophies and unlocks are still Completely ignored. Wha?!?

I'm also on Windows Vista on the new computer, by the way. The old one has XP sp2.

i know why your having that problem...it happened to me too...

first rename the save file to something stupid so the game does not know its the regular save file...then just copy your new one into your folder and bam, you have all your stuff:p

any other ideas guys?

Copy the SAVEGAME.XOM file to a flash drive or your iPod or something, then transfer it into the \data\ folder on the other computer. It's that simple. I've done it several times already over the past couple of years, and I'll be doing it again on Wednesday. It's not Rocket Surgery.

hmm...
try playing the game without the savegame.xom file, let the game create its own savegame.xom file, and replace that one
you can also try reinstalling the game
