You all know ther is a problem with the direct x 9 you can not lan worms 2. How can i get this to work?

There is no DX 9.1.
The latest version for Windows XP is 9.0c.

well, direct x 9.0c (february 2007) [they release bi-monthly updates to it.]

Not 9.0 and 9.0b either, AFAIR.
8.1 and older on the other hand do work again, but are horribly outdated.
