i am talking about the sound randomly cutting out for no apparent reason at all... it does get annoying at times and i know this was reported ages ago and there was a discussion on it, thus i am curious and was wandering if the issue was found and/or resolved.

i have a xfi soundblaster xtreme music soundcard with latest winXP 32bit drivers.

That's Creative not making drivers properly franpa, not W:A. My Soundblaster Audigy used to do the same, and sometimes rather than silence it'd emit a high pitched screech meaning i had to turn the speakers off for the rest of the game then restart.

no, there was definatly a group of people who had experienced the game going silent at random moments and audio would only return after returning to the frontend.

it has also occurred with my onboard AC97 audio as well, but that was ages ago... when i didnt have this sound card =\

i've had some audio problems as well with onboard yamaha ds1. pressing escape and adjusting the volume slider sometimes gives weird fx. Seen when starting up a new game, having no sound until the slider was set to 100% again in the configuration screen. Moving slider ingame would have no effect when the volume is gone. Might be in concurrence with Winamp, since i use that a lot.

ive set winamp up to not interfere with full screen app's and to use wave out instead of direct sound.... so i don't see any issue's with that, and also i rarely run winamp while playing worms.

I also got some bug with sounds on wa once in awhile. When the game starts, music starts too obviosly, it runs two seconds and starts from the start, then two seconds and from the start. Its very annoying to listen something like that ya know. Any ideas why this is happening ?

It also happened on my old computer and on WWP too
