Following a fresh discovery on the Something Awful forums, I've decided that I've had enough exposure to the infected butthole of the collective human psyche. So for now, I'm quitting the Internet.

I'll still be on MSN, I'll still be checking my work schedule and essential stuff online, but that's it. No more webcomics, no more forums, and no more permanent psychological scars.

I suppose I'll come crawling back eventually, but I need to take a good, long break for now, and maybe finish some games while I'm at it. Viewtiful Joe 2's been sitting around forever.

Wasn't that bad, honestly. I've seen much worse. I mean, maggots are gross and all, but relatively speaking, it hasn't had a great deal of impact on me.

While this maggots thing isn't exactly pretty, it's not nearly as bad as the mutilation ones. I think I've got over the initial shock that a few people do things which defy belief.

It's what makes the Internet so great though, that things go to such extremes. I'm not just talking about the bad things, because there's good things too - such as finding games or music or books that you would otherwise never have come across.
