Officially this forum is for discussion of community stuff -- clans, community projects, websites, the forum, wormnet, stuff like that. The edges of that are pretty fuzzy, so in practice a lot of "general" discussion goes on and is tolerated. Periodically someone (usually thomasp) will go through and prune a load of the sillier threads, and if it's getting overloaded with rubbish then I'll kill a few of the worse offenders. (Threads, I mean; I don't kill people.) It's a fairly flexible system, if system it can be called.

I considered locking this thread as non-T17 related, just to make a point, but annoyingly I think this thread is actually almost exactly the sort of thread that belongs here...

We (well, I :p) try to keep the spam-game-threads to a minimum - the odd one will slip through when I don't notice it or can't be bothered to delete it.

It's not really fair to waste T17's precious bandwidth on nonsense, is it?

Perhaps Dream17 should host them; waste all Heart's bandwidth -- they promised it, after all.
