I used to think stfu meant stuff you.

And everytime you use newb and n00b interchangeably, another little boy and his ice cream are pushed off the edge of a cliff. :(

I used to think stfu meant stuff you.Hey, I thought that well into seniorship. I probably wouldn't have used it in MAPP if I knew what it really meant.

I also thought for a good long time that lol was "Lots of laughs".

And for me, the BFG (Quake as opposed to Roald Dahl) will always be the Big Friendly Gun. Because euphemism aside, it's funnier.

Before I read what AFAIK meant I didn't asume it meant anything. I just accepted the fact that I didn't know what it meant. And after seeing it enough times I looked it up. Same with IMO/IMHO.

When I was a n00b, I thought I was only as god-like as a normal person!

I used to think stfu meant stuff you.
Me too!
And what does 'afr' mean?

Attack from rope, last I checked.

(As in the rule to only attack from the rope)

When I were a newb, we had to squirm three screen lengths every turn! No jetpacks in them days, lad. No backflips neither, less'n you cheated, an' we were always too proud to cheat. And then when we got there we 'ad to fire our Bazooka shell over two hills and then curl it round with the wind to hit the worm under the overhang. An' you think you've got it tough with your mistargeting Homing Pigeons. We'd have killed for a mistargeting Homing Pigeon. Then next turn we'd squirm back over those three screens - no retreat time in them days, lad - and when we got back, our dad would beat us with a sharp banana! And we were glad of it!

Now's a good time to dig up this really ironic post I did in Slick's first thread before it was locked. Gimme a sec... (if I can find it.)

Same.

And I couldn't find that post btw. (<--Meaning By the way)

But I can tell you now that it had the sentence "come on slick! show this forum how much we hate noobs" in it.
(remember this is one of my first ever posts here)

When I was a noob I won a t-shirt, but never received it. APJ was kind enough to send me a second one, which I didn't receive either. Yay, Mexican Postal service ftw!

When I was a newb I remember I used to punctuate my posts like this, when really I should have used a line break or something......................................... .............................God knows why, it must have been really annoying and painful to read.

When I was a noob, I used to think that 1337 was cool.

But I still like Cheese-Onion, so I guess I'm still a noob.

Compare these two Fanarts XD My first one (the attachment) and the sequel to my "a bit famous" Spyworm, Spyworm II (the imageshack link).

When i was a newbie i dind't even know what is LOL... Then i read this on wikipedia:
LOL (also written lol) is a common element of Internet slang used, historically, on Usenet but now widespread to other forms of computer-mediated communication, and even spread to face-to-face communication. It is an abbreviation for "laughing out loud" or "laugh out loud".
